There are two sisters by the eastern sea
Love oh love hear the wild waves roar
At least twice as beautiful as they might be
As the breakers crash upon the eastern shore
They build two castles in the white sea sand
For all we know there are castles there yet
As the waves roll in from faraway lands
And the wind blows north to Lavallette

The first sister's name is Jeanmarie
Love oh love hear the wild waves roar
She says she has a secret but she won't tell me
As the breakers crash upon the eastern shore
She laughs as she dances on the rocks surefooted
For all we know she is dancin' there yet
If I told you then it wouldn't be a secret now would it
And the wind blows north to Lavallette

Victoria is the second sister's name
Love oh love hear the wild waves roar
For years she's been a pirate on the bounding main
As the breakers crash upon the eastern shore
Does she sail to Sarasota or the beaches of Peru
For all we know she is sailing there yet
Three kings four queens and a prince all wish they knew
And the wind blows north to Lavallette

There are two sisters by the eastern sea
Love oh love hear the wild waves roar
And I've told you all I know about them honestly
As the breakers crash upon the eastern shore
If the sea wind sings it's to let them know
For all we know it is singing there yet
That they brighten our world wherever they go
And the wind blows north to Lavallette
